Hey everyone! I know its been a while since I have actually posted on here! I saw this fun tag on Thrice Read‘s blog and I will be answering the questions – despite it being Winter here in Australia.
Lemonade: pick a book that started off bitter but got better.
The Village by the Sea by Anita Desai – The storyline dug deeper after the first few chapters and I was hooked!
Golden Sun: pick a book that made you smile beyond compare.
The Unlikely Hero of room 13B – Teresa Toten – I thought this would be a cute novel but it ended up being more – the characters are unique and the story is set out so beautifully.
Tropical Flowers: pick a book set in a foreign country.
Theres so many to choose from – but I have to go with Anne of Green Gables – the setting is elaborate and well thought out. (It was set near Nova Scotia – Prince Edward Island)
Tree Shade: pick a book in which a mysterious or shady character was first introduced.
Into the water – I will say no more 🙂
Beach Sand: pick a book that was grainy, and the plot barely developed.
Honestly, I haven’t come across a book with a plot that wasn’t developed – I have read a few with poor plots but they just developed in a way I didn’t like – I don’t know if that makes sense 😛 – meaning that someone else might have liked it.
Green Grass: pick a character(s) that were full of life, making you smile.
Two characters from Malory Towers stand out to me – they are Darrell Rivers and Alicia John! Loved them 🙂
Watermelon: pick a book that had some juicy secrets.
The Last Necromancer – #1 of the Ministry of Curiosities.
Sun Hat: pick a book that had a vast, big universe/setting.
Things We Didn’t See Coming – Steven Amsterdam
BBQ: pick a book in which a character was portrayed as a hunk.
